![]() It is good against bosses though as I said in my initial comment, really good on boss wave as most bosses are hard to EMP and the damage difference doesn't matter as much (as bosses don't have separate head HP).Īlmost all weapons from medic are good enough for HoE, but please don't use vampire or mine reconstrcutor in multiplayer HoE.Ī few notes on the reasonable medic weapons: It might heal targets far away for more but if you are with your team (like you should be) healthrower out heals everytime.Īlso the hemo does have high damage but it's body damage and the slow iirc doesn't work on raged FPs and will rage SCs which gives the incision an edge as you can EMP them to keep them calm while also doing headshot damage. There's more to healing that just the dart charges and heal amount, heal thrower heals without using darts or charge and because of the speed of the ticks you apply the buffs much faster too which is normally more important than the total amount of HP healed (as the HP per second is capped) and it's AoE so you can give everyone HP and buffs very quickly. Hemogoblin is definitely viable but, its niche where it's arguably the best choice is definitely boss wave though. Originally posted by DrunkBunny94:Hemogoblin is kinda niche, it's strong bosses but outside if that the incision is better for CCing large zeds.Looking at plain stats, the Hemogoblin is simply the best medic weapon.ĭart recharge rate, healing/dart, damage, unique bleeding effect, etc. The mine thrower is kinda weird but it's okay I guess. they also pierce multiple enemies so you can better heal people through a crowd. ![]() The 'darts' can knock over or stun most zeds and even outright kill smaller zeds. I have had a good experience with that medic rail gun. It's just impulse for me to grab the pistol when my rifle is low on juice. That said, the heal thrower also has a dart. The heal thrower is like a more aggressive version of the health grenade but it's good to keep the 401-301-101 because the darts are homing and when people are running away they are rarely in the heal thrower range. It's one of the better shotguns for support at clearing trash with its fast fire rate and its magazine. The 301 shotgun is great but I prefer it on support and survivalist. I usually go 401, 101 as backup and the heal thrower though sometimes I go 401 and the grenade rifle because medic grenades with the heal perk are one of the most powerful tools in the game and 10 spare grenades are nothing to sneeze at. The new gun the corruptor is kind of like a less reliable 7kg 501, I don't see it really being that great on medic. Vampire is bad, no healing and meh killing power. Like the 401 is good but the heal thrower has more heals, the 301 is good but the incision deals with mediums and larges better, the 301 is also replaced but the heal thrower who kills low hp trash. Outside of that the traditional medic weapons still work but are just outclased by all the power creep. Definitely worth considering over an upgrade imo. Med pistol it nice just because it's 1kg, has 2 darts and a pretty fast swap. Hemogoblin is kinda niche, it's strong bosses but outside if that the incision is better for CCing large zeds. Incision is a decent choice, EMP on larges particularly scrakes makes them super easy for your team and a pretty large insta heal for means it will always find value. It's kinda meh against zeds though, but it'll kill clots crawlers and stalkers almost instantly but outside if that it starts feeling slow.ĥ01 is still disgustingly strong since it's heal nades heal twice as much as the normal medic nades as well as carrying twice the amount and they melt trash. The heal thrower is probably the best all round healing weapon, it's got darts and the primary fire heals, instantly gives 3 buff stacks, is AoE and damages zeds.
